ICSI Faridabad with IMT Faridabad held a joint programme

PNN/ Faridabad: To comensurate the ICSI Student Month Celebration- July 2022 (CS-A Preferreicsi-faridabad-with-imt-faridabad-held-a-joint-programm Professional), A Joint programme was conducted by the Faridabad ICSI Chapter in association with its MOU partner IMT Faridabad on 21st July, 2022 at 02:30 p.m.

The session was moderated by Dr. Meenu Dhembla, Dean Academics, IMT Fbd. and was joined by graduate and post garduate students of IMT. The relevance and importance of Industrial relations was being discussed by Prof. (Dr.) Parul Khanna, Vice-Principal IMT Fbd. Dr. Parul is an academician with around 22 years of teaching and administrative experience. She is also teaching Industrial Relations from past 15 years to the students.

The main focus in India is shifted from Employer – Employee relation to Employer – contractor (Contract Labour) relation to avoid the union related issues. Most of the companies are now outsourcing the manpower to 3rd party agency so that they can avoid union issues and complications. The most important benefit of industrial relations is that it ensures uninterrupted production. Reduced industrial dispute, industrial unrest, strike, lock outs can be avoided through good industrial relation. This ensures smooth running of the organization and continuous production.

The new four labour codes: the Code on Wages, 2019, on August 8, 2019, and the Industrial Relations Code, 2020, the Code on Social Security, 2020, and the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 on September 29, 2020. India’s four new labour codes could be implemented soon was also being analysed.
The student’s queries were also handled with regard to the adoption and importance of taking CS as a profession. The programme was a success.
