PNN/ Faridabad: The three-day ‘Induction Programme’ organized by the Department of Management Studies Department of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad for its newly admitted students concluded here today. Popularly face of Modern Indian MSMEs, Rajive Chawla, Founder and Chairman of Integrated Association of Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises of India (IamSME of India) was the Chief Guest and Keynote speaker on the valedictory function.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Kumar has congratulated the Department for successfully conducting the Program. The aim of this Program was to make the students sensitize towards exploring their academic interests and activities, and to familiarize them with the culture of the University.
Speaking on this occasion, Rajive Chawla gave an impressive talk and he motivated the students with the inspiring stories of successful people who failed in their career and, later, achieved success with their determination. He asked the students set their goals in life and strive hard to achieve them. Correlating the success with talent, intelligence and application he said that ‘in today’s world, excellence is not optional, it is mandatory, therefore, work for excellence’.
Earlier, in the morning session, Dr. Suresh Bedi, former Director, Continuing Education, Manav Rachna University, Faridabad was the invited speaker and gave an impressive talk on ‘how to maximize the value of MBA Program’ and guided the students about career opportunities after MBA.
Placement Officer Suman Vashishtha gave a brief view on the placement activities related to MBA students.
Later, the session was also addressed by Dean of Management Studies, Dr. Arvind Gupta and Chairperson Dr. Ashutosh Nigam and interacted with the students. The students raised several queries which were aptly responded by them. The three-day Program was coordinated by Dr. Sapna Taneja and Dr. Gunjan Gumber.
