“Have fought elections in difficult situation”

PNN/Anantnag: Socio-Political Activist and former Muncipal Committee President Aishmuqam Abdul Wahid on Tuesday requested LF administration to not denotify his Muncipal wards till he completes his term.

In a statement here, Wahid said that few people were being misguided by local politicians and being provoked to demand excluding Tulhard Aishmuqam from Muncipal limits.

“The administration before taking any decision in this regard must take every resident of my ward on board and must keep in mind that i have contested elections during difficult times” he added.

He said that terrorists had warned him of not participating in elections but he decided otherwise only to ensure development of his Muncipal ward and in the interest of nation.

He urged LG Administration to reconsider the decision at least till he completes the term.
