Grand farewell holds at Ryan International School

PNN/ Faridabad: The amphitheatre of Ryan Vasant Kunj branch was humming with celebration as the school, the students, staff and management bid adieu to the class of 12th, 2018 batch, a grand farewell function was held at the school campus. Great excitement could be seen as all the grade 12students were dressed up to their best, the boys looked dashing in their tuxedos and the girls who never failed to put on a show, were draped in gorgeous sarees  for the occasion.

A number of events were organized to mark this nostalgic moment which would go down the memory lane of the outgoing students in the years to come. Special recognition awards were given out to the students who did their Alma Mater proud in various fields.

The program commenced with the reading of a passage from the Holy Bible followed by Lord’s Prayer. Thereafter, class 11th students welcomed the batch in different languages. In the nostalgic gratitude speeches, the students, reminiscence their time in school, the various ups and downs, failures and success and also stressed on the importance of school life in shaping one’s destiny.

They thanked the teachers for their enduring efforts in shaping up the destiny of a child and for being there when it mattered the most. The candle ceremony marked the passing of responsibility, trust and hope to the juniors as the senior ones were stepping into a new phase of their lives.

The highlight of the function was the crowning of ‘Ryan Prince and Princess’. Mayank Tewatia and Bhavya Wadhawan bagged the top honors, while Simran Jolly and Abhishek Dwiedi were adjudged as the ones who were all rounders in their tenure of class 12th. In the special recognition award category, the oratory skill award was bagged by Romil Srivastava and Kriti Vashistha while the sports award was taken away by Shubh Chauhan and Karneet Kaur.

The Managing Director Madam in her emotionally surcharged address reiterated the values Ryan has inculcated in students and to fare well in all their assignments. The musical orchestra kept the essence of the ceremony and presented farewell songs, which left the entire audience sentimental.
