Ryan International School celebrated culmination of ISA Project

PNN/ Faridabad: Ryan International School, Faridabad celebrated the culmination of ISA Project titled ‘Food: A Perishable Art, Savoured at the Peak of Perfection’ in the school premises.
The event witnessed the final stage of all the activities conducted under the topic such as Poster Making, Bursting the Myths, Menu card designing, Recipe Booklet Designing, Jam Session, Tree of Gratitude, Audio visual Quiz etc. The countries selected were India, Australia and China. The aim of the project was to kindle the spirit of creativity among students while they explored the food world.


The gala event was graced by Dr. Aastha Jessica from Shikha Sharma Nutrihealth centre, Dr. Anjali Pandita from Anjali Diet Clinic and Dr. Vasundhara Kaushik all three pioneers in their field. There could not have been better choice of guests to preside over this special day.

An interesting exhibition was arranged to showcase the work of students. It was pretty amazing to see such work created by the students.
The School Principal Nisha Sharma felicitated the guests with potted plants as token of respect. The guests were extended a warm welcome. The proceedings began on an auspicious note through Lord’s Prayer, Bible Reading and Special Prayer followed by soul stirring praise and worship songs.

A report about ISA was presented by Section Incharge Bharti Nagpal which included the details of the project. A medley was presented on the theme of Fusion Fitness which was perfectly in sync with the theme. A mime was presented on the theme ‘Today’s wastage; Tomorrow’s shortage’. It successfully taught children not to waste food.

The chief guest Dr. Aastha Jessica expressed her happiness to be a part of this international festivity and was highly overwhelmed by the talent shown by the students.
In her address Dr.Aastha Jessica talked about nutrition and good food habits to both kids and parents. She also stressed the importance of yoga and exercise for students. After prize distribution Principal advised the students to eat seasonal and locally available food. She said balance is the answer to all issues related to food.
The assembly was a huge success and fulfilled the objective of adding international dimension to education effectively.
