PNN/ Faridabad: Homerton Grammar School situated in Sector 21-A, Faridabad has been nominated by a very prestigious International School Awards, Dubai, in two categories, Institute in a Leading Role in Academic Shaping and Best School Promoting Extra Curricular Activities. The Award Ceremony will be held on 23rd December 2018 in Dubai, for which the Managing Director of Homerton Grammar, Rajtheep Singh has been invited to receive the honours.
Sharing this information with the mediapersons, Rajtheep Singh said “We realize we don’t do it alone. Our success is rooted in the unfaltering confidence, faith and hard work of our staff members, students and parents”. He also mentioned that “we have been nominated in these categories because our school is recognised as an emerging institution for its distinguished ‘Teaching Methodology’ and for our ‘Innovative Curriculum’. It is also because of the future plans of the school has for making Homertonians’ future work-places ready.

Rajtheep Singh said this is through our serious intent for introducing 21st-century skill sets in our Teaching Methodology and Student Learning.”

Rajtheep Singh further said Homerton Grammar’s prestigious association with UNESCO gives them an opportunity to celebrate a number of International Days in the school. Student participation in these days helps develop in them the Homertonian Values i.e. Socially Aware and Concerned Citizens, Self-Directed Learner, Self Aware and Global Citizens.
He concluded by saying that the school has been continuously striving to provide excellence in Academics and Co-Curricular activities for 35 years which has been duly acknowledged by the International School Award, Dubai.
